The UW Finance Operations (Fin Ops) unit is dedicated to assisting UW Finance (UWFIN) business units in stabilizing and optimizing financial operations after the 2023 implementation of Workday Finance & Supply Chain. The team in Fin Ops engages in:
- Resolution of cross functional UW Connect tickets routed through Shared Environments (SEs) / UW Finance units or created directly by UW Finance units.

- Bring together SEs as needed, central UW Finance, Finance Application Management (FAM), and subject matter experts to resolve issues.
- Facilitate conversations with all stakeholders to resolve issues.
- Possibly create knowledge articles and/or job aids if resolution requires it.
- Communicate solutions to stakeholders.

- Resolution of UW Connect tickets may require creating and managing a Change Request for Workday configuration changes that goes to FAM team.

- Submit Change Request with business owner(s).
- Manage resolution of Change Request.

- Resolution of FDM worktag change requests in Workday.
