Invested Funds

Invested Funds is the term used to describe the investment portfolio that includes the operating funds of the University which are invested daily.

Objectives

The primary objective of the Invested Funds is to enable the University to meet its financial obligations as they come due. A secondary objective is to achieve investment returns above those of money market instruments.

Guarantees

Investors within the Invested Funds have access to their funds upon demand. In addition, the University assumes all market risk from the underlying investment strategies, thereby guaranteeing no loss of principal to campus investors.

The latest information on the performance and asset allocation of the invested funds may be found in our quarterly investment performance reports.

Investment income provides an important source of financial support to the campus community. Distributions are made annually at the end of each fiscal year—rates and performance information are communicated in annual letters to campus. To view the most recent letters, click on the links below.
