Equipment Insurance
University property and equipment is not automatically insured.
The Equipment Insurance campus-wide online program administered by the Office of Risk Management provides optional, low cost coverage for equipment owned, leased or borrowed by University departments.
News and Changes
Effective November 1, 2009 Equipment Insurance billing is paperless. Department personnel authorized by ASTRA for the Equipment Insurance System may access current and previous month invoices online. Obtain invoice by logging onto EIS, choose “View Internal Sales Document (ISD)” & select budget/date to view or print the ISD.
Billing is within 3 business days of the end of the month.

* Laptops insured for Domestic or Foreign Coverage are insured for transit worldwide.
* Laptops do not need to be insured for both Domestic and Foreign.
