The UW Real Estate Office (REO) assists the Office of Gift Planning with gifts of real estate.

REO performs the due diligence evaluation of the property offered as a donation to determine its acceptability. This evaluation has two purposes: to ensure a meaningful gift will result, and to ensure that the University and the donor share an understanding about the prospects for the disposition of the property. REO also handles property management and sale of real estate gifts.
