To ensure an aligned strategy, the F2 Strategic Framework was created to pinpoint the areas where F2 can make the biggest impact. Using five of the Shingo Prize's guiding principles, objectives were created to which departments within F2 could connect goals that serve those objectives. Once the department has aligned with the Framework, each unit and team in the department can then cascade these goals to their individual areas to create an aligned strategy.
Below is an example of F2's framework cascading down into a division, a unit, and finally a team. Each of their goals ties back to the F2 objectives.
