    *Pursuant to RCW 28b.20.253 and .255, the University will provide legal defense and indemnification for employees acting within the course and scope of their duties and volunteer workers and students while acting at the direction or request of the University. Coverage for injuries to UW employees is provided through Labor and Industries (workers compensation). Injuries to Non-UW individuals and students should be submitted to their personal health insurance companies.
