We are pleased to announce we now have a new website! Although most of the content is the same, the format and navigation has been changed to make the site more navigatable. Hopefully you will find the new site just as helpful.

Update to the UW General Records Retention Schedule

The General Schedule is now in Revision 10 which is available under the University of Washington Retention Schedules menu bar. Every section was revised to include either new series or changes in retention periods. Please update your office copy to make sure you have the correct revision.

New UW Multi Campus Common Office General Records Retention Schedule

With the growth of Bothell and Tacoma Campuses, Records Management Services recognized that many student services offices and programs were being duplicated on the retention schedules for all three campuses. In an effort to streamline the retention scheduling process, we developed the UW Multi Campus Common Office General Records Retention Schedule. This schedule lists the offices common to at least two of the campuses and the records in common between the offices. If you belong to an office that is not listed on the schedule but is found on all three campuses, please give us a call at 543.0573 and we will update the schedule.
