Applications and Supporting Documents for Tuition and Fee Reduction/Exemption: Provides a record of students' eligibility for state-authorized tuition and fee reduction or exemption (as per RCW28B.15). Folders can be for: veterans, military personnel and dependents, children of law enforcement officers or firefighters, non-resident UW employees, non-UW higher education employees, refugees in parole status, Native American descendants, etc. Files may include, but are not limited to, any supporting documentation needed to prove eligibility including any of the following: application, copy of military orders, marriage certificate, military ID, birth certificate (to prove dependents), income tax forms, line of duty disability, death certificate, etc.

Change of Credit Load Report: Report generated from the Registrar's Office student database which lists the veteran students who have changed their credit load. This report is used to verify the fulfillment of requirements for veterans' educational benefits. This information is sent to the Veteran's Administration via the VA database.

Veterans and Dependents Folders: Provides a record of veterans and/or their dependents who are receiving veterans' educational benefits. Includes: Certificate of Eligibility, Credit Evaluation, Enrollment Certification, Notice of Status Change, Kardex summary, correspondence, etc. This information is audited annually by the Veterans Administration.

Veterans Educational Benefits Check Disbursement Report: Provides listing of checks disbursed by the Veterans Administration to qualified veterans in payment for educational benefits. Report lists the name and social security number of recipient, date and amount of check. The VA administered program distributes checks directly to recipients. Report is received by this office as a courtesy from the VA and is used for informational purposes only.
