Time Reporting System (ETR/PTR)
The Time Reporting System is made up of the Exception Time Reports and the Positive Time Reports. The Exception Time Report includes all salaried employees and the Positive Time Report includes all hourly employees. The system is used to process exception hours such as Leave Without Pay, Overtime, or Straight Time for salaried employees (ETR) and actual hours worked for hourly employees (PTR). The system is available twice a month during Cut-off and is open for four days to allow departments plenty of time for processing hours. The process involves an enterer to input and release hours and an approver to approve the hours. Once processed, the hours determine calculation of an employee’s pay.
