Vacation and Sick Leave

 

 
Monthly-paid University of Washington (UW) employees are eligible for various types of leave. Leave benefits may differ for each employment program. Use the following links to view the leave pages for your employment program:

 

If your department uses the Online Work/Leave System (OWLS) for timekeeping, you can access your leave balances through Employee Self-Service (ESS).
 

For UW faculty and academic staff, Academic Human Resources, a division of the Provost’s Office, is your main point of contact for HR policies and procedures.
