To promote international cooperation in teaching, research and other fields of mutual interest, the UW has formal partnerships with many universities, government agencies and non-profit organizations operating outside the United States.
UW agreement sponsors should become familiar with UW policies and procedures regarding international agreements before committing to any form of international partnership. The Office of Global Affairs offers guidance and support to units developing international agreement sponsors.
