Step 1 - Fill out an application:

Step 2 - Choose a bank

Chose a bank from the list of acceptable banks. Contact the revolving fund desk and get a signature card. This signature card informs the bank who can sign checks and where the statements should be mailed.  The words "University of Washington" must always be included in the name of the bank account.

Step 2 - Document cash safety

Departments requesting an account for more than $500.00 must contact the UW Campus Police at 206-543-9338 to approve the methods of safeguarding the funds. A memo of approval will be provided by the police department.

Step 3 - Mail them in

Mail both the application and the signature card to:

Revolving Funds
Box 351120

Expect five business days for the revolving fund desk to process the application and forward your application to the bank.

The bank will take a few days to set up the bank account. It typically takes 7 to 10 business day to receive checks after they've been ordered. When ordering checks, have them printed with "not valid after 180 days".
