RFQs and RFPs are advertised in the Seattle Daily Journal of Commerce newspaper and can be found in the Current Advertisements box on the right.  Any addenda issued will be noted as well.   The University strongly encourages minority business enterprises (MBEs), women’s business enterprises (WBEs), and small businesses to submit qualifications or proposals or to participate as sub-consultants on University contracts.

Consultant Roster for Architectural and Engineering Services

The University uses the Shared Procurement Portal A/E Roster for selecting the most qualified consultants for some individual projects where the total project cost (design, construction, and other costs) is less than $4 million.  Firms interested in these projects valued at less than $4 million dollars should apply for inclusion on the Shared Procurement Portal or update their information there to reflect the type of work for which the UW will be selecting consultants.  Firms may click on the 2012 Shared Procurement Portal Roster Announcement link below for more information.

For projects exceeding $4 million, and for on-call consultants, the UW will solicit qualifications for the project in an advertisement in the Seattle Daily Journal of Commerce.  Firms do not need to be included on the Shared Procurement Portal Roster in order to respond to project specific advertisements for qualifications.
